Kim Lea Sindermann is a German footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Frauen-Bundesliga club SGS Essen.

She studies sports and German at university with the goal of becoming a teacher.
She first started playing football at SC Weitmar 45, often spending time at the pitch with her father and older brother.
She began as one of two girls in a boys’ team and became a goalkeeper when a coach decided the girls should go in goal during training.
Her brothers are her biggest role models.
She already works occasionally as an additional sports teacher at a school to gain classroom experience.
She plans to stay connected to football after her playing career, possibly as a coach, youth coordinator, or by running a school sports club.
She likes to ski and snowboard.
In the summer, she enjoys surfing, camping and paddleboarding.
