Daniela Caracas González is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga F club Espanyol and the Colombia national team.

Born in Jamundí, Colombia, Daniela began her football journey in local clubs before making her mark internationally.
In February 2025, involved in an incident during a match against FC Barcelona, where she was allegedly subjected to inappropriate behavior by Mapi Leon which resulted in Leon's suspension.
With Atlético Huila, she won the Colombian Women's League (2018) and made history by winning the Copa Libertadores Femenina, defeating Santos – a huge achievement in South American football.
She has represented Colombia in the Copa América Femenina, South American Games (2018), and Pan American Games (2019), where she won the gold medal.
Since childhood, Daniela loved football so much that she would ask her dad for money to buy footballs, and she was always playing with the boys in her neighborhood and at school.
She helped Espanyol achieve promotion to Liga F.
