Isabelle Naomi Louise Hoekstra is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga F club Espanyol.
She was part of the Ajax women's team that won the Eredivisie in the 2022â23 season and secured the KNVB Women's Cup in both 2021â22 and 2023â24.
She comes from Leiden, Netherlands.
She played for various Dutch national youth teams â U15, U17, U19 and U23.
She was only 17 years old when she made her Eredivisie debut with Ajax.
She started playing football on the school playground with classmates and joined her first club at age 4 or 5.
She played with boys at Quick Boys and Rijnsburgse Boys as a child.
