Brisa’s first Talleres team was actually a boys’ football school; only later was she moved across to train with the club’s older female players.

Even on football trips, school still came with her — at 14, Brisa was spotted studying for a school test on the Sunday journey home with Talleres.

At just 10 or 11, Brisa was already switching between sessions with the boys’ school and training with Talleres’ women’s first team.

Brisa has already become a role model inside the same academy she once came through, with young Talleres players citing her journey as proof that “everything is possible.”

Brisa’s route to Talleres began on the pitches of Córdoba’s Barrio San Carlos, where she was playing when an acquaintance offered to help take her to the club.
