Kate Taylor is a New Zealand footballer who plays as a defender for Dijon FCO in Division 1 Féminine and the New Zealand national team.

Did You Know?

Taylor started playing football at the age of four and was often the only girl on boys' teams until she was 10.

She joined the youth setup at Canterbury United Pride at age 13 before making her senior debut in the New Zealand Women's National League in 2018.

She won three consecutive national titles with Canterbury United Pride between 2018 and 2020.

Taylor captained the New Zealand U20 side at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica.

Alongside her football career, Taylor is studying for a Bachelor of Health Science at Massey University, majoring in Integrated Human Health.

Taylor scored a notable goal against France during the group stages of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Kate loves skying.

During her teen years she used to play rugby.
