Fun Facts about Lacey

Discover more than stats. Get more of who she is.

Sporting talent runs in the family! Both her parents, Steve Kindel and Sara Maglio, represented Canada in football, while her older brother, Ben Kindel, plays ice hockey in the NHL.

One of her favourite activities away from football is baking.

Football wasn't her only childhood sport. She also took part in gymnastics.

Moving from Canada to Michigan at 16 wasn't always easy. She admitted to missing her parents and everyone back home, but found a second family among her university teammates.

For her 17th birthday, she wished to score her first university goal, and her wish came true on 27 September 2026 in a 3-0 win over Washington.
