Before football took over, Oliwia also practised swimming — a sport she eventually swapped for life on the pitch.

Her parents spent months driving her from Mińsk Mazowiecki to Biała Podlaska twice every week so she could train at the Young Eagles Academy.

As a teenager, Oliwia travelled to Texas with Śląsk Wrocław for the Dallas Texans International Girls Cup, where the team stayed with American host families instead of in a hotel.

Scoring against France was once a personal dream of hers — and she fulfilled it in the match that helped Poland qualify for their first FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

After six months out through injury, Oliwia chose Lech despite having several other offers because she felt Poznań was the right place to rebuild both physically and mentally.
