She joined Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy in 2014 and became its first female graduate to sign for FC Nordsjælland in Denmark.
She holds dual Ghanaian–Danish citizenship.
Her nickname is “Cessa”.
After signing for Bay FC, she said, “I hope young women can use me as an example and see that it’s possible”.
Monitored by Ghana's coach in, she earned her first senior national team call-up in July 2024 and made her debut off the bench in a friendly against Japan.
She debuted for Nordsjælland’s senior side in March 2022, scored her first goal in October that year, and helped the club win the 2023–24 Danish Women’s Superliga title.
