Rachel Louise Williams is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Manchester United of the English Women's Super League.
She was discovered by Rehanne Skinner, who has been her manager multiple times since then, playing with boys in the streets.
She joined Leicester City Women as a twelve–year–old, progressing through their centre of excellence to play in their senior side.
In May 2009, she was one of the first 17 female players to be given central contracts by the Football Association.
She represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics.
Before becoming fully professional in football, she worked as a plasterer - a trade she would like to return to after her active career.
She used plastering to stay physically conditioned for football, and even found that the demanding work helped improve her fitness.
It was difficult to manage both football and her work and she sometimes missed important games because she was needed on a construction site.
On her days off, she still loves doing DIY projects and jobs around the house.
She has two brothers and one sister.
She doesn't like too much attention and publicity and prefers keeping her life fairly private.
