Fun Facts about Sheika

Discover more than stats. Get more of who she is.

She is from Talamanca, Costa Rica, and left home as a teenager to live with her grandparents in Guápiles so she could continue pursuing football.

Her grandfather began accompanying her to training when she was eight years old and became one of the biggest driving forces behind her football career.

At her first team, the coach initially did not want to take her because she was a girl. Her grandfather asked him to give her a chance, and she earned her place.

Shirley Cruz and Alex Morgan were two of her football heroines growing up.

Joining Paris FC in 2025 was the first time she had left Costa Rica to play club football abroad.

Scott was just 14 when she became the youngest goalscorer in the history of Costa Rica's women's top division while playing for Municipal Pococí.

Her first move to Europe brought a serious culture shock. The language barrier and Parisian cold were the two things she found hardest when she first arrived in France.
