She was born in Lyon and grew up in nearby Villeurbanne, where she first started playing football as a child.

Before fully focusing on football, she practiced multiple sports during her youth, including athletics.

She made her senior debut for Olympique Lyonnais at just 16 years old.

She went on to become a key player for Club Necaxa, where she made around 140 appearances before leaving the club.

López began her professional career in Colombia with Íntimas de Medellín before moving to Independiente Medellín.

She played college soccer at the University of Central Florida (UCF Knights).
