Emily Ann Alvarado is an American-born Mexican goalkeeper who represents Mexico at senior international level and has played in the United States, Sweden, and Mexico.
Alvarado played college soccer at Texas Christian University (TCU), where she made over 70 appearances for the Horned Frogs.
During her time at TCU, she was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team in 2018.
Alvarado has also played in Europe, including spells with Ă–rebro SK in Sweden and Hammarby IF.
She made her senior debut for the Mexico national team in 2021.
Before committing to Mexico, she had previously been involved in United States youth national team camps.
She has experience playing in multiple countries (USA, Sweden, Mexico), giving her a diverse football background.
