Pamela Tajonar Alonso is a Mexican footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. She has represented Mexico at youth and senior level.
She had played football “in one way or another” for as long as she can remember, including in the street, at school and at family gatherings.
She only started practicing more formally, with structured training, when she was around 12 or 13 years old.
She focused on goalkeeping only from age 17 when she filled in for her team's regular goalkeeper.
She spent a school year in the United States.
She studied architecture in Puebla before an opportunity to join Málaga in Spain changed the course of her career.
