Carol Cázares Carrera is a Mexican footballer who plays as a centre-back. She has represented Mexico at youth international level.
She has represented Mexico at U-20 level and was part of the squad for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
She spent part of her development in the United States at Montverde Academy in Florida, where she appeared on the school roster.
Her family founded FutXtrm, a football development project born from Carol Cázares’ own experience in the game and built to support both player growth and stronger family connection.
Her family says Carol once told them through tears, “I don’t like football anymore, but I don’t want to disappoint you,” a moment they describe as the turning point behind changing her training environment and founding a new training platform.
