Dania Nicole Pérez Jiménez is a Mexican midfielder who has represented Mexico at U17, U20 and senior level.

Did You Know?

She comes from a wider Chivas-rooted football family, with her father, an uncle, and a cousin all developed in Guadalajara’s academy and later played for the club’s first team.

She is the niece of Javier “Zully” Ledesma, the former Chivas goalkeeper who was a key figure in Guadalajara’s 1986–87 league title-winning side.

She grew up with two sisters and started playing with one of them in a club before standing out in school matches that were mostly against boys.

Before focusing fully on football, she trained in gymnastics as a child in Guadalajara.

In 2019, she appeared on the June cover of Elle México.

She created her own football camps in Monterrey as a way of giving back to football, and said one of the things that inspires her most is hearing girls tell her, “I want to be like you.”

She loves matcha.
