Jermaine Seoposenwe is a South African footballer who plays as a forward. She represented South Africa at senior level from 2010 until her international retirement in 2025.
She is widely known by the nickname “Jay.”
She grew up in Cape Town and first played for an all-boys team called Standards FC near her home.
She studied in the United States on scholarship at Samford University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing.
She named former South Africa international Antonio Carelse as the player who changed her view of women’s football and became her role model.
