Carla Monique Montes Frías is a Mexican midfielder who has represented Mexico at youth international levels.
Football runs through her family. Her uncles Jesús, Heriberto and Jonathan Frías Ramírez all have a long history in the Mazatlán football scene.
She entered the Rayadas development system in the Clausura 2022 season, initially joining the club's U17 side.
Her grandmother, Eduviges Ramírez, is a passionate football fan better known in the family and local football community as "Doña Güera."
In August 2026, after scoring for Rayadas U19 against Tijuana, Monique and a teammate made the outline of the Disney logo with their hands, a cheeky response after first-team coach Amandine Miquel had compared the club's youth situation to "Disneyland."
