The Marcussen twins played football together from a young age and later moved together from FC Thy-Thisted Q to HB Køge in 2022.
Marcussen began her football journey in the Nibe BK youth setup before continuing through Danish women’s football pathways.
During her time at FC Thy-Thisted Q, Marcussen was part of a team that reached the Danish Cup final three times between 2020 and 2022, winning the 2021 final.
