Selma Igesund Saga is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender. She has represented Norway at youth international level, including the Norway U17 national team.
Saga received her first national-team call-ups through Norway’s youth setup, including appearances for the U15, U16 and U17 teams.
During a Norway U16 gathering in Wales, Saga was chosen as captain for the match against Scotland, describing the responsibility as a major honour and a valuable learning experience.
Saga grew up playing for Store Bergan before moving to Sandefjord Fotball Kvinner, where she developed through the Norwegian youth and senior football system.
Saga and fellow Vestfold player Selma Helgeland Henriksen grew up in the same football environment and were selected together for Norway youth national-team activities.
After joining Como, Saga said that living in Italy had always been a dream and that she was excited to experience Italian culture, language and football while continuing her development.
