Julia Pereira

She was born in Almenara, in Minas Gerais, and started playing football at the age of seven.

Before joining São Paulo, she spent 2020 and 2021 at Valadares and also played one year of futsal with Carlão Futsal Feminino.

She joined São Paulo’s academy in 2023 and earned promotion to the senior squad in March 2026.

One of her football references is Corinthians midfielder Gabi Zanotti, whose game she admires for its style and vision.

Her first Brazil youth call-up turned into a family celebration, with everyone at home crying and jumping with happiness.
