Julieta Aguilar

Julieta Aguilar

Julieta Aguilar is an Argentine footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented Argentina at U15, U17 and U20 level.

Did You Know?

Julieta fell in love with football at four while following her older brother Rodrigo to training — she would cry on the sidelines because she wanted to get onto the pitch with him.

Her mother became Julieta’s first football advocate: when league rules blocked her from playing with boys, Graciela personally searched for another club that would simply let her daughter train.

Julieta’s obsession with football became a family joke during lockdown — unable to train outside, she kept kicking a ball around the house until she started breaking things.

After years of playing mainly alongside boys, one of Julieta’s childhood dreams was simply to play on a girls’ team — a wish she finally fulfilled when she joined Newell’s.

What Julieta treasures most about Argentina duty is deeply personal: seeing her family in the stands, singing the anthem and seeing her own surname printed on the national-team shirt.
