Laura Feiersinger is an Austrian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln and the Austria women's national team.
She began professionally at USK Hof before moving to Germany in 2010 to join Herforder SV at just 17.
In 2023, she moved to AS Roma and celebrated an Italian double with the club.
She tried various sports (biathlon, athletics, cross-country) before choosing football at 15, partly inspired by her father Wolfgang—a former Champions League winner with Borussia Dortmund.
She played every single minute for Austria at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017, where they reached the semi-finals.
Her first football jersey was from Casino Salzburg.
In her free time, Laura enjoys cross-country skiing, tennis, and going to the cinema.
Her favorite food is pizza.
If she were not a footballer, she would like to do another sport as a profession.
She listens to artists such as Tems, Joesef, Loyle Carner, Drake, and Frank Ocean.
She has played football professionally in four different countries: Austria, Germany, Italy, and now Germany.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports science.
Laura and her sister Denise launched their own fashion brand LRI 10 23.
She is an official UEFA ambassador for the #WePlayStrong campaign to promote women’s football.
She is in a relationship with Keira Walsh.
