Iraida Guadalupe Fernández Quevedo is a Mexican footballer who plays as a midfielder.
Local media celebrated her Necaxa signing as a point of pride for San Quintín because she reached Liga MX Femenil from a relatively small football community
She made her Liga MX Femenil debut against Club Tijuana Femenil before later joining the club herself.
Fernández suffered an elbow dislocation and left epitróclea fracture during her first spell with Necaxa before later spending a season with Club Tijuana and returning to Necaxa in 2025.
She signed for Necaxa while still only 16 years old.
She believes hard work matters more than status, saying every player is “human in the end” and competing for the same opportunities.
“Lupigol” is one of the nicknames she has been called by teammates and local media.
