Majasaari left her hometown of Pori for Turku to pursue football more seriously and began planning for a professional career abroad.

While playing in Sweden, Majasaari studied Sport Management at Södertörn University and completed a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Her university thesis was about football agents. She researched the legitimacy and ethical practices of football agents in Swedish football, interviewing players, agents and representatives of the Swedish Football Association.

She helped solve her own Crystal Palace work-permit problem. After initially being told she did not have enough points for an English work permit, Majasaari researched the regulations and found an alternative interpretation that helped her qualify.
