Ainhoa Marín

Ainhoa represents Spain on youth international level. She was called up for Spain’s U-17 World Cup in Uruguay, where the team won gold. However, she had to leave early due to a grade II sprain in her right ankle after the first match.

She competed in the lower categories of Fútbol Club Barcelona, reaching the 2017–18 season in the second team of the Barcelona club, in the Second Division.

Wears number 14 in homage to Johan Cruyff, reflecting his influence on her playing style.

Her current reference is Caroline Graham Hansen, a left winger playing for FC Barcelona.

Her father was the one who brought her to the world of football. He played her videotapes with footballers such as Ronaldinho, Ronaldo or Beckham but she was captivated, above all, by Johan Cruyff.

In November 2024, she reached the impressive milestone of 100 games played for Deportivo.

She loves spending time near the water and has even tried activities like surfing.

Marín can be seen wearing caps pretty often.
