Nerea Eizagirre Lasa is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga F club Real Sociedad and the Spain women's national team.
She has a dog called Bali.
Her pre-game routine is to imagine every night before the game all the situations that can happen, so that she is prepared for everything.
Since childhood she has played in her local club Tolosa CF together with her current teammate Nahia Aparicio.
She was part of the so-called Las 15, the fifteen players of the Spanish national team who drew attention to the problems in the national team and around coach Jorge Vilda.
She has played for both Spain and Basque Country at the national level. Although the Basque national team play only on rare occasions, she opened the score for them in a friendly against Chile in 2022.
She was only 23 when she played her 200th match for Real Sociedad.
