Ava Cook is an American professional football player who plays as a forward for Chicago Stars FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
She grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan, where she was a multi-sport athlete, playing both football and basketball in high school.
In 2024, she suffered a major setback when she tore her ACL early in the season, sidelining her for the remainder of the year.
She studied advertising and public relations at university.
She likes to do fishing and play disc golf.
She loves graphic design and uses it as a mental outlet and source of joy outside of football or when recovering from an injury.
She works at Parkside and created a custom trading card design for herself and other NWSL players.
