Edith Carmona

Before fully committing to football, she practiced karate during her childhood, developing athletic discipline from an early age.

She made her Liga MX Femenil debut at just 16 years old on 15 July 2019 for Atlético San Luis against Atlas.

Carmona has played for multiple top-flight Mexican clubs, including Cruz Azul, Atlético San Luis, Pumas UNAM, and Querétaro.

She has represented Mexico at youth international level, featuring for both the U17 and U20 national teams.

Carmona has played both as a traditional left-back and as a right-sided defender depending on tactical needs.

She was part of Atlético San Luis history as one of the players to receive a national team youth call-up while at the club.
