Vanessa González Márquez is a Mexican defender who has represented Mexico at U17 international level and has played for Tigres UANL, Atlas, Atlético San Luis and Querétaro in Liga MX Femenil.
She represented Mexico at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and the 2016 CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Championship.
González started her Liga MX Femenil career with Tigres UANL in 2017.
She later played for Atlas and Atlético San Luis before joining Querétaro in 2024.
Atlético San Luis described her in an official club feature as “la jugadora a seguir” (“the player to watch”) ahead of a Liga MX Femenil match against León in 2023.
During the Clausura 2025 campaign, she became one of Querétaro’s most-used players in Liga MX Femenil matches.
Match reports from Querétaro Femenil regularly listed González in the starting lineup throughout the 2025 season.
