Havi Larisa Ibarra Hernández is a Mexican footballer who plays as a defender.
She built her senior career across three different countries’ competitions before turning 22: Mexico with Toluca and Mazatlán, Paraguay with Sol de América, and then back to Liga MX Femenil with Santos Laguna.
Her first goal for Santos came against Puebla in Apertura 2024, and it helped deliver the team’s first win of that tournament.
She started playing football at age seven, and her first position was goalkeeper.
She began her football journey in boys’ teams before moving into girls’ football around ages 11 or 12.
La Laguna has meant more than football to her: she says the experience has helped her grow, improve, and evolve as a person.
After her spell with Mazatlán, she stepped away from football for about a year and a half and was close enough to quitting that she saw Santos as her one final shot. If that move did not happen, she was ready to walk away.
