Her 18th birthday brought a perfect football present — on the exact day she turned 18, Rekord announced that Iga had been called up to Poland U19, shortly after returning from injury.

Iga built a serious career in both football and futsal, becoming a Polish U17 and U19 futsal champion while also developing into a youth international in eleven-a-side football.

At her first FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, Iga played every possible minute — completing all 360 minutes as Poland reached the quarter-finals on their tournament debut.

Leaving Rekord after three years was emotional for Iga — she said the club had helped her develop not only as a footballer, but also as a person.

Iga has made #66 part of her identity — she wore the number at Rekord, kept it after moving to Czarni Sosnowiec and even uses “Iga66” in one of her public brand partnerships.
