She became fluent in Italian during her time at Lazio, understands German and admitted that she learned little Swedish because almost everyone in Malmö spoke English.

Fashion is one of her biggest interests away from football; she enjoys photoshoots, likes posing and regularly searches clothing websites for new releases.

Her eldest brother, Badradine, was a defender, and she wanted to play in the same position as him. He later became her agent and is also like a second father to her.

Marcelo was one of her football role models, alongside former Montpellier full-back Sakina Karchaoui.
