Martha Thomas is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a attacker for Tottenham Hotspur and the Scotland national team.

She was born to a Scottish mother, Christine, and English father, Andrew.

She is married to Welsh footballer Ellie Leek. The two met while both playing in France for Le Havre.

She was supporter of Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign.

She studied in the United States and spend four years playing for Charlotte 49ers (team that represent the University of North Carolina at Charlotte). She was named team MVP in each of her four seasons.

During her studies in US, she represented USA in youth leves. But she had not acquired American citizenship, making her ineligible to represent the senior team. At senior level, she was eligible to represent both England and Scotland – and chose Scotland.

In November 2017, she suffered an ACL injury.

She has a dog called Skye.
