Martyna Bartczak

Bartczak was a chemistry standout at school, reaching the final of the Łódź provincial subject competition in chemistry.

Football was not the only sport she excelled at: she and her school team won first place at provincial level in floorball.

Her combination of academic and sporting results earned her a PRYM Foundation scholarship in 2020, an award reserved locally for high-achieving young students, athletes and artists.

The Polish FA identified her talent very early, selecting her as one of 80 highly rated young players from across Poland for its Summer and Winter Academy of Young Eagles programmes.

Bartczak was selected in Poland's final 21-player squad for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup on home soil.
