Mya Rilaine Charmaine Jones is a Canadian professional football player who plays as a forward for AFC Toronto of the Northern Super League, on loan from San Diego Wave FC.
Jones was born in Calgary, Alberta, to parents Jason Jones and Kristin Sherriff.
In high school, Jones ran track and field and was a six-time academic honoree.
Mya speaks fluently English and French.
Named the 2020–21 AAC Midfielder of the Year for her performances, Mya also received numerous accolades for her 2023 performance, including the AAC Championship Most Outstanding Offensive Player title and a unanimously-decided AAC Offensive Player of the Year award.
She represented Canada at the under-15, 17 and under-20 levels.
She became the first player from the University of Memphis to be drafted into the National Women's Soccer League.

12 years of age...that's when Mya made her youth team debut under eventual Canada women's national soccer team coach Bev Priestman.
Mya was part of the Canadian squad that won gold at the 2014 CONCACAF Girls' U-15 Championship.
Traveling and exploring new places with her loved ones is a must.
Jones helped found the University of Memphis Athletics for Diversity and Equality group (UMADE) and played a key role between connecting UMADE and Memphis’ SAAC, which she was an executive member of.
Her major was health studies.
