Rubí Iridian Villegas Aguilar is a Mexican defensive midfielder who has represented Mexico at U17 level and has played in Mexico, the United States, and Georgia.
She was born in Puebla City, Mexico, linking her closely to the club she currently represents.
She was part of the Mexico U17 squad that reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
She played college soccer in the United States for Lamar University, continuing her development outside Mexico.
During her time in NCAA soccer, she balanced education and football while competing in the Southland Conference system.
Before joining Puebla, she also had a spell in Georgia with FC Samegrelo Chkhorotsku, adding international club experience.
