Sari Kees is a Belgian footballer who plays as a defender for FA Women's Super League club Leicester City and the Belgium national team.
Kees started her youth career as a goalkeeper at SP Budingen.
Sari loves outdoor activities, last year she visited Lapland in Finland, which was an incredible and unforgetable experience for her.
Her international debut was against Slovakia in the Pinatar Cup in February 2022.
Sari stated that her ambitions for the coming years are becoming a full-time member of the national team, and earning a transfer to a foreign club which came true in July 2024 when she signed for Leicester City.
She has a sister with whom she has a strong bond, they are an inseparable duo.
Kees was named in the Belgium squad for UEFA Women's Euro 2022 in England.
She was in the top 3 nominees for the Golden Boot award.
Sari is a cat person, she owns a cat as well. Funny thing, Sari's mom installed acamera just for her cat so whenever she's not home, she's still able to talk to her.
