Vanesa Diehm is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for TSG Hoffenheim in the Frauen-Bundesliga and the youth Germany national team.
Vanessa was studying sports and applied training sciences at DHGS (Deutsche Hochschule fĂĽr Gesundheit und Sport).
She got into football through her kindergarten friends who played the sport, and later joined a boys' team.
Vanessa has a brother who plays football as well.
Her long-term dream is to play for Bayern Munich, which is also her favourite club.
She has a lot of love for the mountais.
Psychology and nutrition are the areas that interests her a lot, as well as biomechanics.
Her idol used to be Philipp Lahm — she even had a poster of him above her bed.
Now it's Joshua Kimmich — she wears number 32 at Hoffenheim as a tribute to him, since he wore the same number earlier in his career.
Vanessa enjoys not just sunny summer days, but also snowy winter ones and cold weather.
