Alexandra Popp is a German footballer who represented and captained the Germany women’s national team. After 14 seasons in Wolfsburg, she is currently playing in Borussia Dortmund.
She loves animals and she is a trained zookeeper.
She wrote a book with her autobiography.
She has a dog.
She hates spiders.
She attended Gesamtschule Berger Feld (elite football school) where she was the only female in the school.
Although one of Germany’s biggest football institutions, Borussia Dortmund, long remained one of the few major clubs without a women’s side in the top division. And while the club is still playing in the third league, its plans and ambitions are already impossible to ignore.
