Brooke Maree Neary is a New Zealand footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. She has represented New Zealand at youth international level and received her first senior Football Ferns call-up in 2026.
Brooke Neary was an outfield player before the Wellington Phoenix academy converted her into a goalkeeper after she joined from Wainuiomata AFC in 2023.
Her route to a senior A-League matchday squad once involved a same-day flight to Sydney after a goalkeeper injury forced the Phoenix to call her in.
She gives back to the Wellington Phoenix academy by volunteering at holiday camps and helping younger players.
Neary helped Wellington Phoenix Reserves win a 2026 Kate Sheppard Cup penalty shootout by making two saves against Wellington United.
She was still relatively new to goalkeeping when she represented New Zealand at the 2023 OFC U-16 Women’s Championship in Tahiti.
