Carmen Menayo Montero is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Atlético Madrid.
She is a versatile player. During her career, she played as centre-back, left-back, winger or forward

She represented Spain on various youth levels from Under 16 to Under 20. On the youth international level, she played more than 50 matches combined
She made her debut in the Primera División (Spain 1st league) for Santa Teresa on 7 September 2014, at the age of 16
In the summer of 2018, the Extremaduran Football Federation produced a documentary about Menayo's career
In the 2020-21 preseason, Menayo injured her ACL and missed most of the season. She returned to the pitch in May 2021
In 2021, she signed long-term contract with Atlético Madrid until 2025
In January 2022, the commemorative plaque was installed on the promenade of the Atlético Madrid club legends, as Menayo played more than 100 games for Atlético
She had started study physiotherapy but later changed her studies for Physical Activity and Sports Sciences
