Ceri Holland is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Women's Super League club Liverpool and the Wales national team.
She was born in Skipton, North Yorkshire but qualifies to play for Wales through her mother.
When she was four years old, her dad took her to a local juniors club where she fell in love with the game.
She played with local boys' team until she was about 10 and then went to Leeds United.
When she was 14 she moved to youth academy at Blackburn Rovers and then to Manchester City.
She considers moving to America to pursue education and football the best decision for herself and is thankful for that experience.
She graduated from the University of Kansas with BSc in Exercise Science.
She comes from the countryside and considers herself a village girl. Her family have a farm-like house with some chickens and other animals.
She scored on her Liverpool debut in Women's Championship.
When she was playing in America she played a lot more in a defensive midfield role but developed to more of an attacking midfielder at Liverpool which she finds more enjoyable.
