Grace Clinton is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for English Women's Super League club Manchester City and the Lionesses.
She played every minute for England at the UEFA EURO U19 tournament in 2022.
She helped Bristol City to win the 2022–23 Championship and promotion back to the WSL.
During successful season 2022-23 at Bristol City, she scored six goals and was awarded with Young Player of the Year.
She scored in her debut for England in a 7-2 victory against Austria.
She grew up playing in an all-boys' team in Merseyside.
She says her worst habit is being forgetful and having a tea before bed and struggling with sleep afterwards.
She feels most at ease when she’s alone at a coffee shop, reading or writing, which brings her contentment.
She often dreams about football, and sometimes food, which leaves her hungry when she wakes up.
She’s not very superstitious but loves to hug people before games or training and always has pancakes before a game.
Spain, especially Alicante, is her favorite place for its peaceful vibes and the chance to take afternoon siestas.
Her phone is her most valuable possession because it allows her to stay in touch with her family, especially her sister.
Her worst fear is not being able to play football, as it is such a big part of her life.
Overthinking and talking too much during games is her biggest obstacle. She knows she’s playing well when her mind is quiet.
"Electric Feel" by Henry Green is a song that makes her feel peaceful.
Her father is her biggest influence. He has always been there to support her, providing both encouragement and tough love when needed.
She is known as the biggest hugger among the Lionesses.
