First goal for Grace Clinton in blue! Manchester City scores five
Manchester City delivered a dominant 5-1 performance away at Tottenham Hotspur, moving up the WSL table and showing just how far their momentum has carried them this season. Aoba Fujino opened the scoring with a clean strike, then Vivianne Miedema and Kerstin Casparij added quickfire headers before halftime. The second half saw debutant Grace Clinton get in on the action with a confident finish, while Laura Coombs wrapped up the rout in stoppage time—with Spurs only managing a consolation from Olivia Holdt. It was a statement of strength from City, who continue to press their bid for the title.
