Her football idol is Sergio Aguero because of his playing style. She is also inspired by Messi and his creativity.

She's been a Manchester City fan ever since.

When she was little, she used to play mostly with boys. Her dad found a girls' team in the area, but Jess didn't want to join it. Her dad convinced her that if she tried out, he'd buy her a new football kit.

Park and Rolfö secure United's spot in League cup semifinal

A match that underlined United’s shrewd summer recruitment. Tottenham opened the scoring in the 16th minute through a Drew Spence strike, and for a long time it looked as though the match might follow a similar script to last week’s league encounter, when Spurs had led 3–0 at one stage. United, however, emerged reinvigorated after the half-time break and, thanks to their summer signings, managed to turn the game in their favor.

Fridolina Rolfö first set up the equalizer for Jess Park before scoring herself to make it 2–1, a decisive goal that sent United through to the semi-finals. The only concern for the Red Devils was an injury to Ella Toone, who was forced off in the 62nd minute with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

Malard with the two goals, first goal in red for Park, first assist for Rolfö

After losing 4-1 to Arsenal, London City Lionesses hosted their first home game in the WSL, where they suffered their second defeat. Manchester United took the lead early on when captain La Tissier converted a penalty.

The match was particularly memorable for Jess Park, who recently joined United from rivals City and scored her first goal for her new club. The assist came from another new signing, Fridolina Rolfö, who came on in the 80th minute and was playing her first game in her new jersey.
