The transfer window has barely opened, yet one of the biggest moves of the winter may already be here. After five years at Bayern Munich, Lea Schüller is set to leave the club and will play in the WSL for the first time.

• Manchester United Women have confirmed the signing of German international striker Lea Schüller, with the transfer effective 1 January 2026, subject to international clearance and registration.
• Schüller, 28, joins from FC Bayern Munich on a contract lasting until June 2029, marking a major attacking addition for the club.
• She scored over 100 goals for Bayern during her five-and-a-half-year stint, helping them win four Frauen-Bundesliga titles and the DFB-Pokal cup.
• Schüller has 82 caps and 54 goals for the German national team, underlining her pedigree at international level.
