At 14, Terland gained attention training with top-flight Norwegian club Klepp, debuting in the Toppserien a year later, while also playing for the club's first team, youth team, and various Norwegian national youth squads.
While juggling multiple teams, she sustained a stress injury. This experience helped her learn how to manage her workload, and she hasn't been injured since.
Her nickname is Teri.
She is really proud and inspired by Erling Haaland, admiring how he performs consistently after moving to a new league and team.
She was the WSL's second-highest scorer with 13 goals in the 2023/24 season.
While her brother inspired her initial admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, Terland's real footballing idol is Norwegian star Caroline Graham Hansen, whom she now plays alongside on the national team.

She is pursuing an Executive MBA at Longford International College.
Today, 2 July, marks the start of Euro 2017, with Finland facing Iceland and Switzerland taking on Norway in the opening matches. Which players should you keep an eye on?
The 24-year-old player has just transferred from Wolfsburg to Angel City. She attracted attention during the last Champions League season, when she came on as a substitute in the second half and scored four goals against AS Roma.
The Finnish centre back enjoyed success with Swedish club Hammarby, with whom she celebrated the Swedish league title and cup. Her tackles were also noticed in England, when she transferred to London club West Ham during the winter transfer window. The 25-year-old player is a key member of the Finnish defence.
With 10 goals and 5 assists, the Norwegian striker became the third-best scorer in the English league. The Manchester United striker says that Erling Haaland is her great inspiration in football. At club level, she shows that she is just as effective a scorer as he is. Now she will certainly want to prove it in the Norwegian jersey as well.
At eighteen, she is one of the youngest players in Euro and also Manchester City's newest signing. Young Iman Beney has football in her blood – her father, aunt and brother are all footballers. At such a young age, she has already proven to be a great asset to Young Boys, scoring fourteen goals in 40 matches, which is very impressive for such a young player.
