Layla Drury
Layla Drury is a Wrexham-born footballer who plays as a forward. She represented Wales at youth level before moving into the England youth international pathway.

She was born in Wrexham but grew up supporting Manchester United, making her first professional contract with the club the fulfilment of a childhood dream.
She only joined United’s academy in November 2024, entering the system with the under-16 team.
She scored on her senior debut for Manchester United. At 16 years and 220 days, it made her both the youngest player and the youngest goalscorer in Manchester United Women’s history.
She represented Wales at U17 and U19 levels before switching to represent England in 2026.
Before joining United, she developed through the FAW Girls’ Academy North programme.
