Rieke Tietz is a German footballer who plays as a forward for FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
Rieke started playing footbal at the age of 5, later her true football journey began with the B-Juniorinnen team of 1. FC Neubrandenburg 04, later she joined Turbine Potsdam.
Rieke moved to Austria to play for SCR Altach / FFC Vorderland, where she continued her development and gained valuable experience in the Austrian Bundesliga.
She made an international appearance for the DFB on 12 December 2018 for the U17 national team against Netherlands.
While playing in Austria, she said one of the biggest problems was homesickness — that was one of the reasons she decided to come back to her home country.
She has an older brother who played football as well.
Apart from being a professional footballer, she is also continuing her studies.
