Deisy Estefanía Ojeda González is a Paraguayan defender who has represented Paraguay at U17, U20, and senior level.
She first got hooked on football by tagging along to her brother’s training sessions and playing on the side of the pitch with a ball of her own.
Olimpia arrived early in her life: she moved into the club’s professional setup at just 11 years old.
Leaving home young became part of her story early, because she moved to Spain at around 15 or 16.
Her biggest football dream is to take Paraguay to the top and fight for a World Cup final.
During her spell in Israel, she kept Paraguayan food close by making guiso and chipa guasu, and she also developed a taste for shakshuka and shawarma there.
